Let me introduce myself...

My name is Steve Flesher and I'm the owner of Flesher and Associates insurance agency in Des Moines, Iowa.  Born in Indianola, Iowa just south of Des Moines.  I've spent most of my life in central Iowa.  I graduated for Simpson college in Indianola before joining the United States Air Force.  I served as an officer before leaving the service in the early 1970's.  I have been involved in the insurance industry for 35 years.  Twenty-two of those years were spent as an agent for American Family Insurance here in Des Moines.  In June of 2000, I formed my own independent agency and began writing policies with several national insurance leaders.  After looking around for the best option to serve my clients, I joined forces with Allied Insurance, A Nationwide Company, and formed Flesher and Associates as an AIDCO agency.  This AIDCO designation allows us to place preferred clients with the fourth largest writer of automobile and homeowners insurance in the country at Allied's lowest rates anywhere.
